A myofascial cupping treatment uses a combination of massage techniques and negative pressure to lift, separate, and stretch underlying soft tissues. The cups are most often applied on the back, shoulders, back, arms, hips, abdomen, thigh, calves, and neck.

Areas of tension are located using massage techniques. The cups may be applied on fascial adhesions or trigger points for a short time to reduce or eliminate discomfort in the affected area.

This therapy encourages blood flow and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. It has been helpful for people who suffer from pain, limited range of motion, and stubborn restrictions. Athletes also have found it helpful in reducing pain and improving performance.

NOTE: Cupping will leave purple or red marks that disappear after approximately 3-7 days
